Let's talk about copyright ©️
Hey. Yeah, you reader, fellow writer, curious internet explorer before you even think about copying my story, let’s have a little chat. You see, the thing I wrote? That came from me. My brain, my heart, my 3 a.m. overthinking sessions. It’s not just some bunch of words thrown together it’s a piece of me.
And guess what? It’s protected by something called copyright. That’s not just a fancy word to scare people. It’s a legit law that says, “Hey, this work belongs to its creator. You can’t take it, repost it, or slap your name on it without permission.” Copyright is like my personal bodyguard it’s got my back, even when I’m not looking.
I know the internet makes it easy to copy-paste anything in seconds. But just because it’s easy doesn’t make it right. Stealing someone’s work is like stealing their diary and shouting it out loud it’s disrespectful and seriously uncool. You wouldn’t like it if someone copied your art, your ideas, or your selfies and claimed them as theirs, right? Same energy.
Now don’t get me wrong I love when people enjoy my work. Share it, talk about it, fangirl over it, maybe even get inspired by it. That’s beautiful! But there’s a line between inspiration and imitation. And when you cross that line? That’s when the law and karma start paying attention.
So here’s the deal: respect my story, and I’ll keep creating more for you to enjoy. But try to steal it, and you’re not just messing with words you’re messing with me, my rights, and the entire creator community that pours their soul into what they make.
Create your own magic. I’ll cheer you on. Just don’t take mine and call it yours.
